Admission Requirements Ensure Equal Access to Education
Clear Entry Pathways for All Programs
The institution has put in place well-defined admission requirements that promote fairness, inclusivity, and academic readiness across all programs. These requirements are structured to accommodate learners from different educational levels while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements for Short Courses
Applicants enrolling in short courses are required to have a minimum of a Grade 7 or Grade 9 School Certificate. These programs are designed to provide practical skills and quick entry into the workforce.
Requirements for Certificate Programs
Certificate programs are open to applicants with either a Grade 9 or Grade 12 School Certificate. A pass in English is mandatory to ensure effective understanding of course content and communication skills.
Requirements for Diploma Programs
Diploma programs require applicants to possess a Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) passes or better. English is compulsory, while a pass in Science is considered an added advantage, especially for health-related programs.
Additional Application Requirements
All applicants must submit a copy of their NRC or National Identification Card, recent passport-size photographs, and proof of payment of the prescribed application fee.
These structured requirements ensure that learners are well-prepared for their studies while supporting the institution’s mission of expanding access to affordable and quality education.
